Hi,

Fssfltr_tdi.sys blue screen errors can be caused by a variety of hardware, firmware, driver, or software issues. These could be related to either Microsoft Windows software or Microsoft Corporation hardware, but it is not necessarily the case.

In most cases, you will experience fssfltr_tdi.sys blue screen errors after you’ve installed new hardware or software. These fssfltr_tdi.sys blue screens can appear during program installation, while a fssfltr_tdi.sys-related software program (eg. Microsoft Windows) is running, while a Microsoft Corporation driver is being loaded, or during Windows startup or shutdown.

You can follow the below steps to reslove this problem:

1. Uninstall recently installed programs related to fssfltr_tdi.sys
  • Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button. Click Control Panel. Click Add or Remove Programs.
  • Locate fssfltr_tdi.sys-associated program (eg. Microsoft Windows) under the list of Currently Installed Programs.
  • Click on the Microsoft Windows-associated entry. Click the Remove button on the right side.
  • Follow the on-screen directions to complete the uninstallation of your fssfltr_tdi.sys-associated program.
2. System File Checker is a handy tool included with Windows that allows you scan for and restore corruptions in Windows system files (including those related to fssfltr_tdi.sys).
If System File Checker finds a problem with your SYS or other critical system file, it will attempt to replace the problematic files automatically.
  • Click the Start button. Type "command" in the search box. While holding CTRL+Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER.
  • You will be prompted with a permission dialog box. Click Yes.
  • Type "sfc /scannow" and hit ENTER.
  • System File Checker will begin scanning for fssfltr_tdi.sys and other system file problems (be patient - the system scan may take a while).
  • Follow the on-screen commands.
3. Microsoft is constantly updating and improving Windows system files that could be associated with fssfltr_tdi.sys. So updating Windows with the latest Service Pack or other patch that Microsoft releases on an ongoing basis can solve this.
  • Click the Start button.
  • Type "update" into the search box and hit ENTER.
  • The Windows Update dialog box will appear.
  • If updates are available, click the Install Updates button.
4. While most storage-related, fssfltr_tdi.sys blue screen errors are caused by problems with your hard disk drivers or storage controllers, these BSODs can be attributed to hard drive corruption.
Microsoft has a utility called “chkdsk” (“Check Disk”) to scan and repair hard disk corruption. If the previous steps did not resolve your fssfltr_tdi.sys STOP error, running “chkdsk” may uncover and repair the cause of your BSOD.
  • Click the Start button. Type "command" in the search box. While holding CTRL+Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER.
  • You will be prompted with a permission dialog box. Click Yes.
  • Type "chkdsk /f" and hit ENTER.
  • System File Checker will begin scanning for fssfltr_tdi.sys and other system file problems (be patient - the system scan may take a while).
  • Follow the on-screen commands.
5. Reinstalling Windows will erase everything from your hard drive, allowing you to start again with a fresh system. Furthermore, a clean install of Windows will also quickly clean out any and all "junk" that has accumulated over the normal usage of your computer.

Hello, This blue screen appears to be related to the Family Safety Filter option included in Windows. It is possible that the update had disabled AVAST or influenced this option. What we recommend: 1 Restart your computer in safe mode of Windows (by pressing F8 during boot) 2 After you booted on safe mode: -Press Win + R on your keyboard, type services.msc, press Enter - \ "Windows Live Family Safety Service \" in the search list of services, double-click, set to disabled -Connect The window, you should be able to reboot normally now -After You restart, follow the instructions from the MS to safely family service completely remove: http://windows.microsoft.com/nl-nl/windows-live/family-safety-remove-uninstall-faq 3 You can also try to install AVAST and again to update it. Again Let us know if this works for you!

I would recommend Avast contact with the problem, and while you're waiting to hear back from them, I would try a different type AntiVirus. I would recommend Norton Internet Security or Avira.
