Clustify utilizes a proprietary mathematical model for measuring similarity of paired documents that defines the critical step in accurate clustering. Clustify currently operates on Linux and Windows. Uses for clustering include taxonomy development by identifying subthemes and major themes, enhancement of search engine by grouping or clustering search results and by displaying related items that may not have exactly matched the query, in litigation by prioritizing evidence and through search queries to discover missing documents, and in ad targeting by clustering your Web pages. You can tag a single document, documents in a cluster or all clusters possessing a combination of keywords.

Clustify is a clustering program that categorizes related documents into clusters to provide an overview of the set of documents and to help with organizing your files. This software does clustering by analyzing the text and identifying the structure that naturally surfaces from it. It detects the most important keywords that will identify the similarities shared by the documents. These keywords will enable you to identify the themes for the group of documents. The software will make a report of the frequency of each keyword, and will let you review the clusters containing the keywords you specify. Clustify is capable of grouping millions of documents on your desktop in less than an hour, making organization of large projects a lighter deal. You can specify your limits through a representative document that will be the standard for each cluster. You can create an hierarchy of custom tags for your document categories.

a word of warning

Be careful not to rename the extension on .cyo files, or any other files. This will not change the file type. Only special conversion software can change a file from one file type to another.

what is a file extension?

A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case, .cyo. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. When that program is no longer on your PC, you can sometimes get an error when you try to open the associated file.
