You're here because you have a file that has a file extension ending in .jgz. Files with the file extension .jgz can only be launched by certain applications. It's possible that .jgz files are data files rather than documents or media, which means they're not meant to be viewed at all.

A Gzipped Javascript file is encoded with standards developed for the JGZ format, and this file format is integrated with compression specifications implemented by the GZIP algorithm. The content of these JGZ files may include reference data and source code required by certain Web applications developed using the Javascript programming language among other languages that can be combined with Javascript to develop scalable Web software, such as PHP and AJAX. The data stored in these JGZ files can be decompressed and accessed using many GZIP compression and decompression tools developed for Web servers. The intended purpose for implementing GZIP compression specifications into these JGZ files is to reduce the size of Javascript source code used as files of a Web application. The Web software associated to a JGZ file decompresses the corresponding JGZ file when a user of the Web app requests to access some functionalities associated to the data stored in these JGZ files. This is done by GZIP decompression tools installed in the Web server where the Web application and the JGZ files are stored. Web browsers for different platforms are usually implemented with support for decompressing these JGZ files. Launch a .jgz file, or any other file on your PC, by double-clicking it. If your file associations are set up correctly, the application that's meant to open your .jgz file will open it. It's possible you may need to download or purchase the correct application. It's also possible that you have the correct application on your PC, but .jgz files aren't yet associated with it. Be careful not to rename the extension on .jgz files, or any other files. This will not change the file type. Only special conversion software can change a file from one file type to another.

A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case, .jgz. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. When that program is no longer on your PC, you can sometimes get an error when you try to open the associated file.
