Axialis IconWorkshop is a desktop enhancement software that has an icon editor, which is the only software that allows users to create and edit Image Strips for toolbars. Wide bitmaps are a problem for developers, but with this software, developers can separately edit each icon. It can read all types of Image Strips that are in BMP and PNG file formats. 32 BPP images supports transparency through Alpha channels and 24 BPP and less is supported through a fixed backgroungdcolor. Users can also create icons for toolbars with the help of the Lite Toolbars feature. Axialis IconWorkshop also features Visual Studio a plug-in which allows editing of an icon included in a solution. This plug-in also creates a direct bridge between the VS IDE and IconWorkshop. This software also can compile programs with 256x256 PNG icons that uses Visual C++ 6.0 and .NET 2005 by creating an icon for 256x256 in an uncompressed mode. Axialis IconWorkshop creates icons for both Windows and Macintosh. This software also features a powerful editor that allows the creation of icons in different file formats. It can also automatically create an icon in one operation in which the Alpha channel is preserved, 256 color formats are calculated for palettes and transparency is generated.
