Mac Users: Time to Update to OS X 10.9.2

Recently, a critical flaw in both OS X, on the Mac, and iOS, on iPhones, iPads and the iPod Touch, was discovered. This flaw allows someone to gain access to all encrypted communication that comes from your PC, from e-mails to bank accounts and more.

A malicious user does this by accessing the SSL, or secure socket layer, on your encrypted official Apple applications, such as Safari, Twitter and Mail. This vulnerability affects any version of OS X prior to 10.9.2. This bug was only fixed this week.

How to Update to Mac OS X 10.9.2

The App Store will open. Next to 10.9.2, click Download, then install it once prompted. Your Mac will restart afterward.
